The Early Days In 2010, we started baking delicious cupcakes at home and selling them on local markets, we were known as “Get Cupcaked”. Over the years, our product range soon diversified in to many wonderful treats. “Get Cupcaked” transformed in to Big Bakes Bakery. We Just Couldn’t Stop Baking We have worked hard to create our own unique recipes that combine the best ingredients just perfectly to make our over sized treats! and lets face it, “Bigger is always better, with Big Bakes”! We are also a familiar face on the food festival scene in the south west, we try to attend as many events as possible to spread the big bakes love, from Cornwall to Manchester, we spread are wings far and wide. Then The Shop! In April 2017 we opened our first shop, located in our home town of Torquay, Devon. This was a huge milestone for us and was honestly one of the most exciting (and stressful!) experiences of our business life so far and we our incredibly proud. We work extremely hard to be able to offer freshly baked goods in our shop window each day as well as taking orders for special occasions.
