Description
Lauren Alexander Weddings (LAW) was founded in 2018 after planning my own wedding. Throughout my life I have always been the one planning and coordinating events, or helping when things are going a bit pete tong! Be that birthday parties, christenings, charity events or weddings – I loved creating something special that was bespoke to that person or people. However it wasn’t until my own wedding, that I truly understood the pressures of being a Bride and was able to listen to the pressures my Groom was under too.
This understanding and the stress that I felt led me to create my own wedding planning company to help relinquish some of the stress (something I wish I had done!) and so to be able to help not just the couple, but family and friends, truly enjoy the day knowing that someone was there to help them and make the day run smoothly.
LAW focuses on working with you to release stress, curate the wedding you have spent hours pinning on Pinterest and honing in on the necessities, realising your visions and putting that into motion. Working with brands that uplift one another, complement and let one another shine; our big brand concept is to build a wedding with the very best whom reflect the ‘brand’ of your wedding and style.
It is broken down into:
On the day coordination
Partial planning
Venue and event styling
Virtual wedding planning
Supplier networking events
All of these services include one on one guidance, Skype calls, WhatsApp groups, guidance and on the day coordination of the event (apart from the virtual package).
I specialise in creating custom and bespoke packages for your specific budget, timeline, guests, and location. I love to create contemporary, stylish and above all fun weddings with your personality, tailored to you both as a couple integrating sustainable, eco-conscious styling and using local independent suppliers where possible.
Our personal, sustainable and creative approach gives you the opportunity and space to be as involved as much as you would like to be whilst also knowing that i will be there to help navigate any queries, questions or issues and take the pressure off you both.
The style is always changeable, moldable and fluid with each wedding. Since 2018 we have worked in some amazing venues from a muddy field with no running water to the stunning Longleat Safari Park. I’ve had the pleasure of having my work featured in some of the top leading Bridal blogs such as Bride & Tonic, Magpie Wedding, The English Wedding Blog, Whimsical Wonderland Weddings (to name a few) as well as in print. Was shortlisted for Best British Newcomer at The UK Wedding Awards and last year we even planned and managed the wedding of Caitriona Balfe and Tony Mcgill (of Outlander fame and Band Manager of the Fratellis) although sadly not able to show photos of that one in here.
